2018 BOHOC MISSION TRIP RECAP

Feb 27 - Mar 5, 2018

READ OUR DAILY JOURNAL (CLICK HERE)

It is with great pleasure I can tell you that we had a most successful mission trip to Haiti with over 60 more souls coming into the kingdom of God. This is ALWAYS our focus and the core of the ministry. Here is a recap of the mission!

1. Shade house was built our garden GRAS LI ( His grace ) in Monac

2. We held 3 vacation Bible Schools ( Cindy, Yvonne and Sandy)

3. Taught English class ( Gail Bain )

4. Visited the community garden we started in Pignon

5. Started a new 5 family portable irrigation garden system in

La Victoire

6. Built chicken nesting boxes and gifted the Pastor with $100 worth of chickens to start a new farm .

7. Gave away goats

8. Went on prayer walks

9. Blessed many children and women with dresses, tote bags

and feminine hygiene kits

10. Gave out food baskets to needy families.

11. Held a widows luncheon that fed approximately

80 widows /widowers

12. We hosted a Haitian Hope Appreciation Party for the men we work with and their parents, Great Times!

13. I celebrated my “ daughter's “ 16th birthday with party including cake and dancing. I met this special young girl when she was 8 yrs old. God has blessed me with a

special relationship with her so much so she calls me Mom.

We had an amazing team of Ron Lusk and Ben Fry who were referred by Rad from Love-a-Child. They blessed us with the shade house from their charity "Sustainable Food Production." They taught a class in chicken nesting boxes.

Gail , Cindy, Yvonne and Sandy joined us from Texas and finishing up the team was my right-hand and Assnt Team Leader, Angela Priest. Angie has been with me on trips since 2008. She is always pitching in to help where needed.

As we continue to grow, please be in prayer that we can branch out and get support from churches, businesses and organizations. Everything that has been done so far has been through Facebook and word of mouth. I’m believing that God will open those doors soon!

I ask that you share our ministry with others and if you know of a group that would be interested in knowing what we do, please pass my name along.

We are looking for new monthly partners so we can budget and hire more Haitians to work on our projects. Praise God we have six Godly Haitians on salary right now which I’m very pleased with. Unemployment is about 90% where I work so I’m very happy to be able to pay employees a salary as they work very hard. Without them, all we do would be impossible.

We're Featured in Tierra Vierde Living Magazine

July 26, 2017

Tierra Vierde Living magazine has featured Psalm139LOVE and Haitian Hope in their recent magazine!  A few months ago, Amanda's mother was in need of an attorney and contacted, Jeanetter Secor, attorney and resident of Tierra Vierde, Florida.  After hearing about Amanda's mission in Haiti, Mrs Secor was moved with compassion to help. She so generously donated funds to build a well-house(covering) for the ONLY fresh water well in a village of 1500+ people.  We are so thankful for compassionate people

If retiring in St. Petersburg, Florida is on your horizon or the thought of luxury waterfront living appeals to you, definitely do not miss Tierra Verde.

Chapin Living Waters Drip Irrigation Systems

May 2017 Newsletter

featuring Psalm139LOVE

JUNE 13, 2017

Haitians in the cities of Monac and Bohoc are rejoicing and grateful for the opportunity to receive and own drip irrigation gardens. Through the ministry of Psalm139LOVE and a partnership with Chapin Living Waters and Hope Seeds, 55 families and 30 widows will now be able to grow and harvest vegetables from their own gardens year round.

Lack of rainfall is a major problem for farmers in Haiti and because of this, they usually only produce two crops per year but with the bucket kits and seeds they will be able to produce crops year round.

Psalm139LOVE was founded by Amanda Pecott, a woman who has visited Haiti on missionary trips since 2008. She fell in love with the country's people and her passion for making a difference in the world grew even stronger.

In the years that followed Amanda formed Psalm139LOVE, a nonprofit charity that provides the Haitian people with the tools to empower themselves and provide clean drinking water. The charity provides fresh water wells, water filtration, personal gardens, cooking centers, scholarships and so much more in Haiti. She also works with Wilnot Mercier of Haitian Hope and Wilfred Cadet of Widows Ministry of Bohoc.
